Here are some pics from the Joy and Eric's wedding, Thanksgiving day at the beach with mom and Maccy in brown. The wedding was a wonderful, rocking party with dancing, chocolate covered strawberries, a perfect 5 min ceremony, and even a bit of vino( I even got my hair done)!!! Mac spent the holidays with the fam in cedar city, climbing, eating and playing with the babies. Maybe we will spend a holiday together one year?? Hope everyones holiday was great. And Mac landing a 3 week gig with the one and only UPS!!! House boy moves on......

Quinners, Climbing, Santa Fe, and Plug ins

We were once again on the move and blessed with the
presence of P,B and Quinners in Santa Fe. This is me on a 165 ft climb in Diablo Canyon. You can see the dog sleeping on a rope bag for a perspective of how high we really are. When that sun went down, the wind was horrendous but we ended up getting down only half frozen and thankful (ahh wind, my favorite element). We then took a 2 hour moonlight hike and Bug had so many encounters with cactus that I carrried twizers in my pocket. Any dogs want to volunteer to teach Bug how to walk through the desert??
This is our view of the Rio Grande and a giant Cholla from our climbing spot on White rock. Breathtaking and only 30 min from Santa Fe.

We Stayed with Paul's momma, Elie, in Santa fe,had amazing breakfasts(with decaf coffee for Mac) and climbed during the day. Another great 4 days off. Quinn even sent a 5.12c on his first try!!! On sun, we drove back to Albuquerque to meet Joe P and Ansely and climb in the Sunshine at Las Palomas. Great trip.

Bug's girlfriend, Sadie, licks him for about an hour every night and he basically lays there. Have you heard of the ice cream doggie treats?? They sell them in Albertsons in the ice cream section. Check it out!!
Mac has spent the last 2 days converting a Pruis to a plug in with this man we met at Trader Joe(I love that store!!!). The guy gets the kits from lesbians that own a car garage in san fran and he puts them in for people. Mac will probably get trained in this to have it as a side job. Pretty awesome technology. Too bad that the kit isn't for our car, only 2004 and later.

Silverton,CO

Greetings from Silverton, CO, already a winter wonderland at 9,300 ft. We just had to get over there to meet the cutie Quinn ( QJ, QdoubleJ, QJsquared) and to help our friends hold the baby, put a stove in and clean up poo poo (serious explosion in the mall on our clock consisted of holding baby poo like soup in Steph's hands and dangling baby over garbage can until clean up crew and social services came!!!!!.) It was wonderful, Bug had full rein of the neighborhood, a girly clothes exchange went on, cookies were had and a successful fire lit in the stove. Beck and Paul are amazing hosts and lovin' life.

Mac is officially houseboy, working on the thesis and studying for the engineering exam. Steph is getting used to nights and computer charting looking fabulous in her white scrub top. NM is great!!!

ps---look how huge bug's head is!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NM--The Land of Enchantment--REALLY!!!

We have made it!!!! The sky is SO big and blue here and our new roomies (Mike and Krissy) are wonderful. Bug is very happy now that he has an official girlfriend (a chocolate lab) named Sadie. We have already been exlporing and realized that there are too many things to do for fun and so Mac will be unable to seek employment any longer (hmmmmmm?). Steph starts her job on Wed and will then get a feel for the travel nursing night life. We expect you all to visit soon!

The End and Beginning-our 1st post

We have done it!!! Something different, something new, something a little less rainy. This is going to be our post of our year of travels and adventure, wherever they lead us. We are headed to Albuquerque for a 10 week travel nursing gig, luckily to hang out with the infamous Joe P. and family where we will climb and play.
Our travels so far:

We spent a week in GJ, CO hiking, bouldering, loving the endless sunshine on our faces, eating Nepalese food, and getting plenty of love from friends. We went to Mac's uncle's apple orchard and picked boxes and boxes of the stuff leading to apple pie after apple pie (ala mode of course!!)

Now, we are in Golden, CO with Alicia in her house in the woods and included in this package are huge bucks, 3 inches of snow, beautiful hiking from the door, views of clear creek, yoga space, and Balderdash bashes!!! We have been aclimatizing (7,800ft here) with runs, climbing, and hiking with all the doggies and spontaneous friends.

We also went on a climbing adventure with the crew to Vedauwoo,WY to get our windy, off width, painful climbing craving done with for the moment. There were surprises around every corner!!!
